Palangka Raya – Pada Selasa, 22 April 2025, Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Palangka Raya ikut mendukung dan menyukseskan Gerakan Menanam Sejuta Pohon Matoa di lingkungan kampus. Turut serta dalam gerakan ini adalah Direktur; Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Helim, S.Ag., M.Ag., Wakil Direktur; Dr. Atin Supriatin, M.Pd., Ketua Program Studi, dan staf di lingkungan Pascasarjana IAIN Palangka Raya .
Gerakan ini diinisiasi oleh Menteri Agama RI; Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A. Gerakan Penanaman Sejuta Pohon Matoa ini merupakan implementasi salah satu dari delapan program prioritas (asta protas) Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar, yaitu Program Ekoteologi. Tujuannya, meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis berbasis nilai-nilai agama, menciptakan lingkungan hidup yang lebih hijau, dan menginspirasi umat beragama untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan hidup.

Postgraduate of IAIN Palangka Raya Supports and Contributes to the Success of the “Planting One Million Matoa Trees Movement”
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palangka Raya actively supported and contributed to the success of the “Planting One Million Matoa Trees” Movement on the campus. Participating in this movement were the Director; Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Helim, S.Ag., M.Ag., Vice Director; Dr. Atin Supriatin, M.Pd., Heads of Study Programs, and staff from the Postgraduate of IAIN Palangka Raya.
This movement was initiated by the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A. The Planting One Million Matoa Trees Movement is an implementation of one of the eight priority programs (asta protas) of Minister Nasaruddin Umar, namely the Eco-Theology Program. Its goals are to raise ecological awareness based on religious values, create a greener environment, and inspire religious communities to actively participate in environmental conservation efforts.
