Palangka Raya – Pada Selasa, 21 Januari 2025, panitia penerimaan mahasiswa baru Pascasarjana Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Palangka Raya melaksanakan rapat persiapan dengan agenda pembahasan strategi penerimaan mahasiswa baru S2 dan S3 tahun 2025. Rapat ini dihadiri oleh Direktur, Wakil Direktur, Ketua/Sekretaris Program Studi, tenaga kependidikan yang juga bertindak sebagai panitia. Direktur Pascasarjana; Dr. H. Abdul Helim, S.Ag., M.Ag. menyampaikan bahwa inovasi dan strategi baru harus dilakukan guna menampung animo calon mahasiswa baru Pascasarjana. “Diharapkan kerja sama seluruh pengelola untuk secara aktif mensosialisasikan informasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru Pascasarjana baik secara verbal maupun melalui media sosial.”, pungkas beliau.
Dr. Jasiah, M.Pd. selaku ketua panitia penerimaan mahasiswa baru tahun ini menyampaikan bahwa panitia telah merumuskan sejumlah strategi guna meningkatkan jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru, salah satunya dengan mengintegrasikan kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian bersama dengan kegiatan sosialisasi.

Preparing for the 2025 Postgraduate Admissions, Committee Holds Meeting
Palangka Raya – On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the committee for new student admissions at the Postgraduate Program of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palangka Raya held a preparatory meeting to discuss strategies for admitting new master (S2) and doctoral (S3) students for the 2025 academic year. The meeting was attended by the Director, Vice Director, Heads/Secretaries of Study Programs, and administrative staff who also served as committee members. The Director of the Postgraduate Program, Dr. H. Abdul Helim, S.Ag., M.Ag., emphasized the need for innovation and new strategies to accommodate the growing interest of prospective postgraduate students. “It is expected that all personals should actively promote the new student admissions information, both verbally and through social media,” he concluded.
Dr. Jasiah, M.Pd., the chair of this year’s new student admissions committee, stated that the committee had formulated several strategies to increase the number of applicants. One such strategy is integrating research and community service activities with the socialization.
